Fabio di Càsola

Fabio Di Càsola won 1st prize at the prestigious 'Concours de Genève' in 1990 at the age of 23. Invitations to major international festivals such as Berlin, Evian and Lockenhaus followed.
As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras such as the Russian National Orchestra, the Prague Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Musikkollegium Winterthur, the Orchestra delle Svizzera Italiana, the Lucerne Festival Strings and many others, as well as being a member of various chamber music ensembles.
Fabio Di Càsola is professor at the Zurich University of the Arts and artistic director of the "klang-Musiktage auf Schloss Meggenhorn". "His brilliant...unforgettable performance...no higher praise is possible..." - says The Sunday Times about his SONY Mozart Clarinet Concerto CD. The Swiss magazine 'Musik&Theater' states: "Fabio Di Càsola is undisputedly the number one Swiss clarinettist of today. ...'.
